A behavioral scientist and a UX designer walk into a bar: How to blend art and science in UX design
Event Description:
The middle of the Venn diagram of behavioral science and UX design is voluminous. At Coalesce the term bias is used with regularity by designers and researchers alike. But while this gives us a common language our tools and goals can differ widely. One of the perpetual projects in our product studio is learning how to bridge the gap between both teams to make experiences that are engaging, effective, and ethical. Here is how we think about matching up our design and research practices.
About the Speaker:
Tucker Margulies is a partner at Coalesce, an NYC based agency with studio practices covering brand, product, and engineering. Tucker leads the product studio where he and his team blend user research, UX design, and behavioral science to help companies build their big ideas.
This is a virtual event only - please get in touch if you have leads on a meeting space for our community for future events!
