Creating Halloween Scenes with Motion, Sound, Fog, Microcontrollers & more …

Details
Preparation: Go to Pandora and Begin Playing this while you read: Handpicked 100: Scary Shuffle Radio. Now continue reading.
Makers: All Hallows Eve (Halloween) is coming. Are you artists painting faces, dressing dummies, etc.? Are the would-be animatronics (moving) scenes engineers making the frameworks for critters and goblins? Would it help to bring the artist together with the engineers? Yes Sir! (But where?)
Help me! I have a full size (3’x12’) crank-ghost in progress. (Lookup crank-ghost on YouTube if you don’t know what it is.) I have the support structure, motor, crank, power supply, pulleys and thread, a ‘ghost’ made of coat hangers and cheese cloth, soundtracks, music players, fog machine, black lights and lasers. I also have a small but loaded shop to work in, and a great junk pile of steel, wood, motors and electronics. Help get it done before the witching hour of Oct 31.
Come to the very first Action Makerspace meeting, it’s scary fun!
At every meeting we make progress reports on activities and projects from prior meetings. We often get into: Auto Mechanics, 3D Printers, CNC routers, Robotics, Drones, AI, Microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi), wood and metal working and any other fun things.
