Los Angeles Makers Faire

Hey future-creating makers:

We are going to the LA Maker's Faire. This should motivate us to get one going here in the high desert. Come see what others have made in their fab lab. See kits for instructors teaching STEM curriculums. See re-buildable battle bots fighting in a plexiglass cage. Suitable for 10 to teenagers. See componnent kits for labs. See home-built jet engines, facial recognition software, kits, toys and tools. And I'm trying to get a session of those who have created or run makerspaces to meet with those from our group members who are interested.

30,000 makers attended last year.

This will be our 3rd year attending. Should we leave early we might just visit a makerspace on the way home,

We will meet and carpool to the show 2 hour drive in the morning, so we meet at 7am. (Where to meet will be sent to those who RSVP, watch your messages.)

We will probably stop for dinner, if you know LA you can recommend your favorite, and I have several also.
