Singing for Beginners over 50

Singing for Beginners over 50

Details

For 2024, we want to broaden the scope of Fun with Music Group, to discover the voice we haven’t used for singing !

Singing and synching our voices with others has been shown to produce oxytocin, boost the immune system, lower cortisol levels and relieve stress for those living with cancer?

The 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month will be sessions using the Ukulele and tambourine. AAH will supply the instruments. Cost $10 per session.

On the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, there will be a Singalong with a professionally qualified teacher, Hannah Cheetham. Check her website, Melody Suite.
This session is $20 per person.

You can choose both music and singing, (weekly lesson) or just one or the other. (Fortnightly lesson).

You must take on new challenges no matter what your age. Music we all know brings much joy to our lives, and we only need to hear a song, and we are taken back to a past era. Life is to be lived; the most crucial is socialising and meeting new friends. It is so important to give new opportunities a go; it may just amaze you how much fun you could have.
