This independent program allows the flexibility to explore on your own. The cruise is a leisurely-paced program, and affordable shore excursions are available locally on board the cruise to enhance your holiday. Walking is done over cobbled streets, uneven surfaces, stairs, steps, and significant slopes. Expect most of the sightseeing to require two to three hours of walking. Many historical cities have specific driving regulations, with set drop off and pick up points, that result in extra walking to and from the sights. A local guide will be present for the Athens city tour, however please note that this tour is not escorted and therefore you will not have the services of a tour manager to assist with check-in formalities and luggage handling. This program's unconstrained nature excludes group advantages associated with escorted tours. This is an Independent program.
