Come and join us on this day trip to Richmond to see the exhibit of Frida Kahlo, the famous Mexican artist. An amazingly talented individual who did not let her disability and struggles in life stop her from pursuing her dreams. You can read her biography here:

As the only East Coast venue and one of only two venues nationwide, VMFA presents a rare opportunity to be in the presence of this singular artist's immortalizing work. More than 60 paintings, drawings, prints, and photographs, many rarely seen outside of Mexico, include Frida Kahlo's self-portraits, still lifes, and more, plus images of Kahlo captured by photographers.
Tickets should be purchased in advance for timed entry at 11:00 AM

$20 Adults
$16 Seniors 65+ and groups of 10 or more
$10 Youth (age 7–17) and Students with ID
NOTE: It is each person's responsibility to get themself to the exhibit. Please use the comment section if you would like to coordinate a ride with others. Let's plan to meet in the lobby of the Museum around 11AM; that should give everyone enough time to get there. We will plan to have dinner at a local restaurant in Richmond before heading back home.
