History
Active Gay Mates had its humble beginnings in 2018 when Alan and Lee relocated to the picturesque Sunshine Coast. Their shared passion for hiking, kayaking, and immersing themselves in the wonders of the great outdoors inspired them to create a platform that would bring like-minded individuals together. As time went by, the group flourished, and a vibrant community of members formed, forging lasting friendships along the way.
Now, life has thrown some busy times their way, and Alan and Lee have decided to take a step back from their group responsibilities. Fortunately, a new chapter awaits as Mark & Geoff from QAF Events step forward to carry the torch and ensure the continuation of this beloved community.

We want to bring people together, have a blast and explore the best South East Queensland and beyond has to offer with a mix of bespoke Gay Tours and free Activities
