An immersive martial arts master class, where discipline, focus, and mindset take center stage. This very special session is not just about learning techniques, itβs about sharpening your mind, embracing tradition, and stepping into the true spirit of martial arts.
We will explore modern & traditional teachings, emphasising respect, concentration and discipline. The way you approach this class is just as important as the movements and techniques contained within it. Distractions need to be left at the door, full presence and commitment is the key.
π€οΈ Weather permitting - due to it being all outdoors
π This event is only open to known/selected attendees. Please initially add yourself to the waitlist. Limited Spaces!
β οΈ Please note: You need to be reasonably fit, agile and not precious about clothes getting dirty or training/sitting on various outdoor terrain. There is body contact/impact involved in the session (same gender) and with any such activity there is an element of risk of inury.

IMPORTANT: Trains to Berrylands are every 30 minutes so you must take the 10:27pm train from Waterloo (or respective train from Clapham/Vauxhall ) to arrive by 10:52am otherwise you cannot make this event! Double check schedule early that day.

π What to bring: Light and flexible/loose workout clothes
π Trainers, without ankle support if possible.
π Small/Light running backpack (with waist/chest support straps if possible). You will need to be able to remove/put on very quickly at a moments notice throughout the session. You can bring packed lunch to have a picnic after if you like, but should have breakfast in the morning as this is a long session!
Martial Arts Drills: Engage in structured drills that refine your punching, kicking, and overall movement.
Self-Defense Techniques: Practical applications of martial arts for real-life scenarios, including common self-defense situations and awareness training.
Instructor: With over 30 years of martial arts experience, specialising in Northern Styles of Kung Fu, with knowledge in Karate, Taekwondo, Muay Thai, and various other disciplines, including self-defense techniques.
ποΈ "No shows" for previous events may be moved to the waitlist/not going to prioritise reliable attendees / new joiners - when there is a waiting list, priority is given by attendance records / new joiners.
