Many of us struggle to stay focused on work tasks, especially when working alone. Distractions pile up, motivation dips, and progress feels slow. But there’s good news—working alongside like-minded individuals can often make all the difference!

This is an event where like-minded individuals come together to focus, work on their own tasks, and hold each other accountable in a supportive and friendly environment. Here's how it works:

1️⃣ Share your tasks or goals for the session in short bullet points—either with the group via a shared document or privately, depending on your preference.
2️⃣ Dive into focused work while enjoying the energy of coworking.
3️⃣ Wrap up by sharing progress updates with the group or your accountability buddy.

By sharing your goals and updates, you'll feel more accountable and motivated, which can enhance your productivity. Plus, if you hit a roadblock, the group is here to offer encouragement, helpful tips, or a gentle nudge to keep you on track. Feedback preferences are always welcome!

What to Expect

What to Bring
💻Laptop and charger: Fully charge your device beforehand as sockets may not always be available.
🎧 Headphones: To isolate yourself from the surroundings if need to.

📍 Location: Shepherds Bush Library (6 Wood Ln, London W12 7BF)
(9 minutes walk from Wood Lane station - Circle line; 10 minutes walk from White City station - Central line)

Event Timeline:
➡ 10:50AM: Meet outside library
➡ 11:00AM - 11:15AM: Settle down and share tasks for the session
➡ 01:15PM - 01:45PM: Mid-Session update + networking
➡ 03:45PM - 04:00PM: Share progress with the group and feedback
Notes:
➡ Those that wish to pray can offer prayer at Shepherd's Bush masjid and Masjid Daar us Sunnah, both about 9 minutes of walk away.
➡ Some venues may not offer reliable wifi or any wifi at all so you may need to use mobile hotspot. Feel free to reach out to me in case you're not able to use yours and I'd be happy to share mine.
➡ We do not have exclusive use of the location and are subject to its rules.
➡ Library can get busy very quickly and we won't be able to hold a seat for you in case you're late so please ensure you're on time.
