πŸ”΄ β›°οΈπŸšΆ Day Trip & Hike: The Jurassic Coast / Durdle Door (Private Minivan) 🚌

Details

🏞️ One of the most Epic Hikes amongst the most stunning views of the Jurassic Coast and the famous Durdle Door in Dorset (probably the most famous stone arch anywhere in the world). Including an undulating two way hike on the clifftops and returning back to take a view at yet another UNESCO World Heritage site of Lulworth Cove.
[Dinosaurs not included]

🌲 Please remember this is primarily a hike in a stunning location and not just a seaside trip (plenty of other groups do that). We also aim to hike to the Fossil Forest and then spend time back at Lulworth Cove cliffs (if we can keep a good pace!)

πŸ’Ί Limited spaces (mini van): Please initially add yourself to the waitlist > wait for message > make payment > you'll be added to going list.

🏷️ Please note: Priority is given to regular and reliable/new attendees for such events. Why? At Active Muslims, we place great importance on attendance records and active participation in our regular events, such as our walks and hikes. We believe these activities offer attendees the chance to form meaningful and strong connections with like-minded individuals. [why it matters]

✊ Reminder: Active Muslims is equally about focusing on the actual activity, in this case, it is a paced hike (and not a stroll), therefore it is advised to approach and attend these events with that mindset.

The Jurrasic Coast spans 185 million years of geological history, coastal erosion having exposed an almost continuous sequence of rock formation covering the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.

Take In The view. Breathe Out The Stress At The World's Most Famous Rock Arch.

Durdle Door is probably the most famous stone arch anywhere in the world. It was created when the sea pierced through the Portland limestone around 10,000 years ago. Looking west over the beach, isolated stacks out at sea show where an older coastline once lay.

This part of the coast is formed from merged bays and shows how Lulworth Cove and Stair Hole may look in several thousand years time.
