⛺ Camping Trip: Eid in Nature (Chantry Woods / Guildford) 🏕️

🏕️ Join us once again for a camping trip to appreciate Eid in a unique way! A single night's camping experience that is suitable for first timers and those that haven't camped in a while. Located on the North Downs on the edge of Chantry wood. It offers beautiful views over the Albury Vale and Chilworth Village.

📊 Please note: In this group, priority is always given to regular and reliable attendees for such events. Why? Active Muslims is very particular about attendance records and focusing on the mindset and actual activity, which we believe provides an opportunity for attendees to make far better and stronger connections with people they resonate with. These overnight events then allow people that have already met (e.g. on walks/hikes), to build on those connections in a different and more relaxed environment. [why it matters]

📍 The campsite is close to London (in Guildford). Easily reachable by direct trains from London Waterloo and by car.

🚉/🚶‍♂️ By Train & Hike to Camp: Taking the 1:07pm train from Waterloo on the Saturday, will bring you to Guildford Station at 14:23pm. One of the hosts can then meet you for a shorter hike from Guildford Station to the Campsite (if there is enough interested). The hike is about an hour long.

• Fire pit
• Piped water
• Brick cubicles for chemical toilets

💳 £25 per person The cost of the campsite, logs/coal for fire and food included.

🎒 Requirements: You will need your own camping equipment. Make sure to pack essentials such as an air/foam mattress, a cozy sleeping bag, and a sturdy tent. However, don't worry if you're missing something! You can always share a tent with a friend, and luckily, many people in the group have spare items they can probably lend. Consider buying a kit for lifelong adventures, its worth the little initial cost. Ping us for more information.

🌤️ As you are well aware, the weather in the UK is unpredictable, so is a possibility that it might rain during our night out. However, camping in the rain can be a surreal and magical experience!

🥘 Food: We will purchase all the food for the dinner on Satuday (including meat/chicken), breakfast on Saturday morning (including eggs) and some light snack/lunch before we depart on Sunday. If you have a particular dietary restriction, kindly let us know asap.

👨‍🍳We will ask everyone to help with food preperation, camp fire and organising the site. We want everyone to get involved in the camping experience!

🗂️ "No shows" for previous events may be moved to the waitlist to prioritise reliable attendees / new joiners - when there is a waiting list, priority is given by attendance records / new joiners.
