π΄πΆπ» Day Trip & Hike: The Jurassic Coast II - Purbeck Ridgeway π
Details
Join us for another adventure of stunning and geologically dramatic stretches of the Jurassic Coast! We climb high onto the ancient Purbeck Ridgeway and be treated to breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views over the sprawling waters of Poole Harbour on one side, and the dramatic English Channel on the other. We pass historic iconic, dramatic ruins of the 11th-century Corfe Castle standing in the valley below, ancient Bronze Age burial mounds dotting the ridgelines, and the famous "Dancing Ledge"- a spectacular, flat limestone shelf jutting straight out into the crashing ocean waves where the sea looks like itβs dancing.
