# Frequently Asked Questions (From the venue)
#### WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
You donโt need anything special, just a change of clothes as it is a watersport after all.
Changing rooms: limited capacity so we request you arrive at the Centre dressed ready to go afloat.
#### WHAT DOES THE CENTRE PROVIDE?
The Centre will all the required equipment for individuals to participate in their chosen activity, including buoyancy aids which are mandatory. Equipments will be disinfected after each use.
#### DO I NEED TO BE ABLE TO SWIM?
Participants are not required to be able to swim, but should be confident in the water whilst wearing a buoyancy aid.
#### WHAT HAPPENS IN ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS?
Very rarely do we need to reschedule sessions due to adverse weather conditions. In the event of a lightning storm, all sessions on the water will cease and students will return to shore for at least 20 minutes after the last visible lightning strike.
#### WHAT AGES ARE THE ACTIVITIES SUITABLE FOR?
For insurance reasons our minimum age is five years old but we have no maximum. Our upper-deckers programme regularly sees 80+ year olds out kayaking. The participants physical fitness and water confidence are the key factors to consider in deciding if the activities are suitable.
#### WHAT IS YOUR YOUTH SUPERVISION POLICY?โ
Young people 14+ must still be supervised by an adult but this can be from the shore.
