Active Muslims: Midnight Stargazing to Fajar to Sunrise Hike!

Join us for a unique, multi-peak overnight challenge across the finest stretches of the Surrey Hills! Combining elements from four of our most beloved trails into one continuous journey, this is a peaceful, mindful, and reflective night (and day) hike. Moving at a steady, gentle pace rather than a rush, we’ll immerse ourselves in the quiet beauty of the woods under the night sky.

Stargazing at Leith Hill: We set off at midnight along dark forest tracks to reach the highest point in South East England. Here, surrounded by open skies (british weather permitting), we’ll take our first long rest break to gaze up at the stars and take in the tranquility.

Sunrise & Prayer at Holmbury Hill: Continuing along the Greensand Way, we arrive at the ancient Iron Age hillfort of Holmbury Hill just as first light breaks over the horizon. We’ll watch the sunrise (british weather permitting!), pray together, and take a peaceful, restful nap on the hilltop as the world wakes up. Morning Refreshments in Peaslake: Descending the hill, we’ll stop at the famous Peaslake Village Stores (depending on timings/08:00am) for fresh hot coffee, tea, and warm pastries.

The Final Stretch to Guildford: Fully restored, our journey concludes with a picturesque morning hike through Chantry Wood, leading us directly into Guildford and perhaps afternoon tea at this historic town.

This experience requires endurance and mental patience, offering a meaningful chance to challenge yourself, strengthen your mindset and confidence, and grow.
