Sunol Wilderness Hike with Dogs (6.5mi, 1300')
Details
Moderate to Strenuous Hike - 6.5 miles - 1300' of elevation gain. This loop has steep sections, so please wear proper footwear and bring enough water for both you and your dog. There are some off-leash areas, so if you are comfortable removing your dog's leash, you are free to do so.
⚠️🐮🌱 Take note that there are grazing cows in the area as well as spots with poison oak. We will try to move with care and ask that people call out any concerns so that we may all have a safe hike together.
📵 IMPORTANT NOTE: There is little to NO cell signal in the parking areas.
Dog lovers that are non-owners are WELCOMED. Just bring yourself, a guest, and your love for dogs.
📍 We will meet in the last parking area, near the restrooms. There is plenty of parking, but you may need to park and walk along Geary Rd to our meeting point.
WARNINGS and DISCLAIMERS
- Dogs must be on-leash (6 foot or less) at all times. Please abide by park rules.
