Touring the parks in the Pearl

When the Pearl District was created in the 2001 plan for River District Renewal, the city and the developers agreed to set aside spaces for 3 parks, each of which having special character. In this event, we will meet at Tanner Springs Park, where the Friends of Tanner Springs will relate to us the work that they as volunteers do to maintain and enhance the beauty of the park. We will then walk a block south to Jamison Square Park to enjoy the water feature. We will then walk north on a wood-plank sidewalk which links Jamison Square Park with Tanner Springs Park and our final destination, The Fields Park. Here, we can get refreshments at either Ovation Coffee & Tea or Snow Bunny Coffee to enjoy in the park and chat.
