Happy Hour at Il Corso

Our August Upbeat Seniors in the Pearl Happy Hour will be at Il Corso, which is a salumeria and wine bar located at 1204 NW Glisan Street. William Oben, the owner, offers expertly-chosen wines by the glass that draw on his extraordinary knowledge and experience with European and U.S. wines producers. These wines by the glass are grouped as Happy-Hour specials, glasses on the regular menu, and special wines rarely-served by the glass using the Coravin argon gas wine preserver system. We will have our Happy Hour at three tables we have reserved, which will allow 14 members to attend. Each member will order and pay for their own wine (and any food ordered). In my visits to Il Corso, I have learned about wonderful wines that I did not previously know, and I imagine you will too!
