Happy Hour at Il Corso

Our Upbeat Seniors in the Pearl Happy Hour in October will return to Il Corso, which is a wine bar serving wonderful food, located at 1204 NW Glisan Street. William Oben, the owner, offers expertly-chosen wines by the glass that draw on his extraordinary knowledge and experience with European and U.S. wines producers. These wines are grouped as glasses on the regular menu, special wines rarely-served by the glass using the Coravin argon gas wine preserver system, and wines by the bottle. There is also a selection of beers and cocktails. The chef, Keenan, who is amazing, offers delicious small plates as well as entrees for members who prefer to eat something with their drinks. We will have our Happy Hour at three tables we have reserved, which will allow 16 members to attend. Each member will order and pay for their own wine (and any food ordered). In my visits to Il Corso, I have learned about wonderful wines that I did not previously know, and I imagine you will too!
