Duck Pin Bowling

Details
Duckpin bowling is a variation of bowling using smaller balls (4.75-5 inches in diameter, 3-4 lbs) and shorter, lighter pins (duckpins) that are strung together. It's played on standard bowling lanes and scored similarly to ten-pin bowling. A key difference is that duckpin bowlers get three rolls per frame, rather than the standard two.
Key Differences from Ten-Pin Bowling:
Smaller Balls:
Duckpin balls are smaller and do not have finger holes.
Shorted, Lighter Pins:
The pins are shorter and lighter than ten-pin pins, making them more difficult to knock down.
Three Rolls Per Frame:
Bowlers get three rolls per frame, giving them more opportunities to knock down pins.
Scoring:
Scoring is similar to ten-pin bowling, with strikes (all 10 pins down with the first ball) worth 10 points plus the total of the next two balls, and spares (all 10 pins down with the first two balls) worth 10 points plus the next ball.
Equipment:
No bowling shoes are required for duckpin bowling, and the pins are strung together.
