Active Women’s Run Through the Velodrome

Jump into your New Year’s resolution and start the year off right with a run around the Dick Lane Velodrome!

If you’ve never been here before, our very own Dick Lane Velodrome is one of ONLY twenty-two velodromes in the entire United States, and the only velodrome in the WORLD which has a green space and an oak tree growing in the center space of it! Right here in our own neighborhood…a space unique to this great green planet!

The run will be rain or shine. We’ll be running for the hour between 1:30 and 2:30. Come for 10 minutes or come for 45! Stay as long as you’d like, just show up some time between 1:30 and 2:30 and catch up to the group!

Dress for the weather, the velodrome is half shaded and half in full sun.

Husbands, brothers, boyfriends and children welcome, who can join our run in they’d like, enjoy the Utoy creek which runs through the park, visit the adjoining playground/soccer field or bike around the park.
