DESCRIPTION: This is a 6.6 Mile with 1,500 feet in elevation hike that starts in Harpers Ferry and goes to the very top of Maryland Heights and then down to the overlook of Harpers Ferry. This hike is steep so please know your limitations. Because of the elevation we will be doing about a 2.5 to 3 MPH pace when hiking. This hike has some amazing views overlooking Harpers Ferry as well as the Potomac and Shanandoah Rivers. It will likely take us approximately 3-4 hours depending on breaks.
