Dear Old Raggers,

classic loop including the famous rock scramble.

Members with national park cards will cover entry for those without (as guests). Please assemble in the new parking lot near the Ranger booth, where cardholders will escort the group. This new parking lot is about 1/4 mile further down the road from the old lot.

Toward the end of the hike, it’s advisable to continue straight down the road to the parking lot instead of taking the circuitous forest route, despite signage. The road is public and can be used.

The hike covers approximately 9 miles. There’s plenty of detailed information online, so please review it before deciding to join.

Meeting Points:
• 11:30 AM: At the parking lot trailhead (remember, it’s further up the road at the new lot).
• 09:15 AM sharp—Vienna Metro GMU Station westbound, north side for ride-sharing. A rest stop is planned en route. A $5 gas share per person is customary for carpooling.

Rest Stop:
We’ll take a 10-minute break at the Exxon (18179 Lee Hwy, Amissville, VA 20106), arriving around 10:10 AM after departing from Vienna Metro.
