Let's ride some gravel on the C&O Canal! We will start in Brunswick MD and ride south to Point of Rocks and back for 13 miles. Then we'll head north riding a little past Harper's Ferry and back for a total of 35-40 miles.

I'm not looking to set any land speed records on this one just get some exercise, explore the trail and have fun. That being said, please be able to ride at a 12.5-13mph average pace. Wider tire bikes would probably be the best choice for the trail. Bring a bike in good working order, lots of water, some snacks and a tube in case of a flat.
Meet at the C&O Canal-Brunswick parking area for a 9am start.
*****Helmets are mandatory when riding with me!!*****

After the ride there is an option to get some food and drinks in town so if you know of a good place please let us know.
This event is cross posted with Day Hikers of Central PA.
