Talking to Strangers - Trial

Details
Have you ever noticed something funny or interesting about someone or a situation and felt the urge to share it with a stranger, but weren’t sure how to start the conversation? This event is about following that spark of curiosity, stepping outside our comfort zones, and seeing what happens when we connect with strangers in a kind, fun, and genuine way.
We’ll do 2–3 short rounds in pairs, walking through a public space (street/park) and noticing what catches our attention. When a genuine question arises, we’ll gently approach someone and see where the conversation goes. It might lead to a great chat, or it might not—and that’s perfectly fine.
Between rounds, we’ll regroup, share, and reflect on our experiences.
Please be on time—once the event starts, we won’t be checking notifications, and we’ll be walking around. Otherwise we look forward to seeing you at another event.
This is for anyone who wants to:
- Step out of the usual routine and try something different
- Spark new connections and conversations
- Bring more curiosity and presence into everyday interactions
- Embrace rejection with confidence and move forward with a positive mindset
