This course introduces the nine dimensions of wellness and helps students understand how each area contributes to a full, balanced, and meaningful life. Through weekly lessons, goal-setting activities, and simple self-assessments, students learn how to identify what is thriving, what needs attention, and how to create realistic wellness goals that fit their lifestyle. The class is supportive, practical, and empowering — giving students the tools to build healthier routines, strengthen resilience, and create a more balanced daily life

Meets online via Zoom/Canvas on Tuesday evenings for 10 weeks between 6/2-8/1.

Instructor: Abigail Constantino

About Your Instructor
Abigail Constantino has experiece rooted in psychology, nursing, and case management, with nearly 20 years of experience working within the Orange County Jail system in both medical and rehabilitative settings. In addition, she serves as an addiction counselor, supporting individuals locally and internationally as they rebuild their lives with dignity, structure, and sustainable tools for recovery.
Ms. Constantino specializes in translating complex emotional and behavioral concepts into practical, accessible strategies that students can apply in their daily lives. She designs courses, workbooks, and guided learning experiences that emphasize self-awareness, resilience, and grounded, everyday wellness—particularly for older adults and women navigating real-life challenges.
Her teaching is deeply informed by lived experience, including long-term caregiving for aging parents and raising a family, which brings added depth, compassion, and authenticity to her work. She is committed to creating safe, supportive, and empowering learning environments where students feel seen, respected, and capable of meaningful change.
