Many people spend spent years — even decades — caring for others while neglecting their own needs. Students learn how to care for themselves with the same dedication they’ve given to others. The course provides tools for emotional balance, healthy boundaries, self-compassion, and reclaiming personal joy. It is a hopeful, healing class for anyone who feels tired, unseen, or overwhelmed by the demands of life.

Instructor: Abigail Constantino
About Your Instructor
Abigail Constantino has experiece rooted in psychology, nursing, and case management, with nearly 20 years of experience working within the Orange County Jail system in both medical and rehabilitative settings. In addition, she serves as an addiction counselor, supporting individuals locally and internationally as they rebuild their lives with dignity, structure, and sustainable tools for recovery.
Ms. Constantino specializes in translating complex emotional and behavioral concepts into practical, accessible strategies that students can apply in their daily lives. She designs courses, workbooks, and guided learning experiences that emphasize self-awareness, resilience, and grounded, everyday wellness—particularly for older adults and women navigating real-life challenges.
Her teaching is deeply informed by lived experience, including long-term caregiving for aging parents and raising a family, which brings added depth, compassion, and authenticity to her work. She is committed to creating safe, supportive, and empowering learning environments where students feel seen, respected, and capable of meaningful change.
