DESCRIPTION
Kids and parents, pack a sandwich and come with us because this beautiful Saturday we're off to the Autumn forests for our Annual Mushroom Hunt with Kids. No car? No problem, we only choose destinations accessible by public bus. We'll pick and take home our own mushrooms with the guidance of an expert in mycology and learn all about the fungi world. A midday wine for the parents and a chocolate milkshake for the little ones, with a snack, is on us!
THE WALKING There's a little bit of walking involved, gradually and all throughout the day, lots of stops, etc. So not a hike! But, if your kids are under 4 yo, or don't like to walk, you can bring a hiking kids carrier or any normal child carrier as just-in-case support :)
THE PINE AND OAK FOREST The vegetation around this area is great for mushrooms, it's ver well preserved forest and we should be able to gather lots of them
THE MUSHROOM PICKING We'll spend a full day with Sebastian (Canadian, speaks fluent Spanish, English and French) picking up our own mushrooms while learning about these strange and fascinating living beings. Sebastian will tell us everything about them and sort them out for you to take home only the good ones! and we'll stop midmorning for a wine and a snack too, kids will have milkshakes :)
THE LUNCH Half way through te day we'll stop for eating (bring your own picnic) at a place in the middle of nature with lots of space to run and explore for the little ones
WHAT TO BRING - IMPORTANT!!
