Assabet River Rail Trail to Crow Island Airpark and Back

We are going for a long walk! Bring water and a light snack.

Meet at 9:30 AM in the parking lot at Mill & Main Place (formerly Clock Tower Place) in Maynard.

This is a large office complex with free parking that is located in an old textile mill in Maynard, MA. The complex entrance is ACROSS from The Faucetorium (bright yellow building) at 161 Main Street, Maynard. About 50% of the trail is paved, the rest is on a very wide and treated path that has some dips. Most of the walk is along the beautiful Assabet River.

Please text Suzy at 781-248-6735 with any questions. We will take off by 9:40, so come on time. If you arrive late, face the pond at the parking lot and then walk toward the right. Cross the road and you will be on the trail.

Group rules:

• You must be signed up to attend the event. Don't just show up!
• Event attendees must be 18 or older.
• Only sign up for events if you intend to show up.
• Wear sturdy footwear and bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
• You assume all risks when participating. All participants must obey all instructions, rules, and regulations.
• Group leaders are volunteers and are not liable for any harm or injury.
• Feel free to bring a friend, but make sure they first join the group and sign up for the event.
• Come on time. We will take off about 10 minutes past the starting time.
• If you sign up for an event but will not be attending, change your response ASAP so that others can attend and we are not waiting for you.
• Check Meetup for cancelations and changes in meeting times and locations before each event.
• Spread out and stay on the right side of the trails to avoid safety concerns.
• Be kind to each other.
• Do not feed the bears.
