Acton Badminton Club: Advanced & Strong Intermediate Badminton

## Join Acton Badminton Club for a Competitive Club Night!

Looking for a regular, competitive game of badminton in West London?
Acton Badminton Club is welcoming a limited number of prospective new players to join us for a Tuesday evening session at Twyford Sports Centre.
Established in 1978, we're a friendly and sociable club with a strong passion for competitive badminton. We play regular doubles games, using Yonex AS30 feather shuttlecocks, and cater for players of strong intermediate to advanced standard.

### What to expect

• Two hours of competitive doubles badminton.
• Games against a range of players at a similar standard.
• A friendly, welcoming club environment.
• The opportunity to meet existing members and experience what our club is about.

### Session details

• Date: Every Tuesday
• Time: 8pm–10pm
• Venue: Twyford Sports Centre, Acton, W3 9PP

### Who should attend?

We're looking for players who are confident playing competitive doubles at a strong intermediate to advanced standard.
Previous club or league experience is beneficial. This session is not suitable for beginners or those looking for casual recreational badminton.

### Interested in becoming a member?

This is an opportunity to experience the club and meet our players.
Guests who demonstrate the appropriate playing standard and are a good fit for the club may be invited back to further sessions, with opportunities to join as an associate or full member.
Please note that attending a guest session does not guarantee membership. We want to ensure new players are a good fit for the existing club and its standard of play.

### A few things to bring

• Your badminton racket.
• Appropriate non-marking indoor court shoes.
• Suitable sports clothing.

### Important – Playing Standard & Guest Suitability

Please be aware that Acton Badminton Club is a competitive club catering for intermediate to advanced players. We want to ensure that all attendees are comfortable with the standard of play and that games remain enjoyable and competitive for everyone.
As this is a guest recruitment session, your playing standard will be assessed during the evening. If we feel that your current standard isn't suitable for the club, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the session early.
By booking a place and attending, you acknowledge and accept this condition.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming players who are a good fit for the club.
Spaces are limited, so please only book if you're confident you can attend. We look forward to meeting you!
