Let's hike up to Tippling Rock!

At over 400 feet above sea level, Tippling Rock is the highest point within the Nobscot conservation lands. Per the
Town of Sudbury website: "Tippling Rock is steeped in folklore. Some commentators have proposed that Native Americans moved a large boulder back and forth on top of the outcropping, an action referred to as “tippling”. The noise thus generated could be used to communicate over long distances. Tippling Rock also offered Native Americans an advantageous view of the countryside. On a clear day you can see views of downtown Boston's towers (30 miles away) and Mount Monadnock."

The hike itself is not difficult. In and out it is about 3ish miles. I usually wear a pair of low hikers in case of mud, but sneakers are fine. The trails are pretty spacious. There is a small climb up a rocky path to get to the top of Tippling, but its not strenuous.

(Optional) For those hungry after the hike, let's hang out and have lunch a 3ish min drive away at The Brass Tap (770 Water St Suite 4, Framingham, MA 01701)
