Come and learn the fundamentals of the technique taught by Sanford Meisner to some of Hollywoods biggest stars, over the course of 60 years.

Martin trained as an Actor at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating with a distinction from the 3 year BA Acting course, going on to work extensively in TV, Film, Theatre and Radio. Having studied a variety of methods and techniques at Central, he always returns to the simplicity of the Meisner Technique in both his own process and how he prefers to teach.

Living truthfully under imaginary circumstances’ was Sanford Meisner’s definition of acting - he based his technique on three principles - repetition, emotional preparation and improvisation (authenticity). In this workshop we will focus on how the technique develops listening skills, instinctive responses and keeping the focus on our scene partner rather than ourselves.

At Actor Collective, we are delighted to offer this free workshop directed to all actors and those interested in theatre in one way or another, regardless of your experience level.
