Preparing Holiday Baskets

It's that time of the year again!!

Hey Everyone!

Once again A.O.K. will be assisting the Blind Center of Nevada with making their holiday gift baskets that are sold to the community as a major fundraiser for their organization. Each year volunteers fill orders of over 1,200 of these delectable baskets. These beautiful handmade delights have been filled with loving care for the past few years by A.O.K. volunteers.

We're going to assemble each basket with an assortment of gourmet treats (that we will actually be making) from decadent chocolates to exotic specialties. Wrap it up in cellophane and then for the finishing touch, we'll accent each masterpiece with a beautiful bow!

Volunteers:

This event will be from 10:00am-2:00pm. No need to bring anything, all the supplies will be there for us. Bring a friend if you'd like, come for an hour or stay for the day. Please no children under 14. As always, please RSVP with integrity. Hosting this event will be Samantha Steele, Program Manager with the Blind Center.

The Blind Center of Nevada is one of the state's oldest charities and has been serving people who are blind or visually impaired since 1955.
