LAKE ACWORTH DRAGONS are ready to begin the 2025 season

Warm weather is here and it is time to be on the water. If you are interested in participating on the newly formed Acworth-Cobb Dragon Boat Club "Lake Acworth Dragons" come join us. We look forward to seeing everyone . This is a great opportunity to learn a new sport and become part of a growing team.

Lake Acworth Dragons begin their 2025 season on Saturday, March 1, Lake Acworth, Cauble Park, Acworth, Ga. Practice starts at 8:30am and on the water at 9:00am. We are excited to be back on the water and welcome visitors. Anyone who would like to learn a new water sport is welcome to join us. Life jackets, paddles, the boat and instruction is provided.

We will board the boat from the beach so be sure to wear water shoes and comfortable clothes that can get wet, a hat and sunscreen. Bring water.
We must have at least 10paddler therefore practice will be cancelled if the numbers aren't there.

You are invited to paddle with us (cost is $10 a session) and after 3 paddles we ask you to join the team.
Also remember we don't have to pay a park entry fee. Just tell them you are with Lake Acworth Dragons

If you sign up for practice please DO NOT be a no show.. this is a team sport and good sportsmanship is the foundation of our team.
We have limited seats in the boat and if you don’t show up you are preventing someone else from paddling.
Additionally, if you have never attended our practice, please don’t spam our sign ups for future practices if you have never attended your FIRST practice. We will remove your name from all future sign ups until we have met you. Thank you.
