# Speaker’s bio

Vitalii is originally from Ukraine, in the age of 21 moved to China pursuing a master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, where co-founded student-entrepreneurial community organization Startup Grind University Beijing (which covers the top 5 universities in Beijing). After doing a few internships, he became a co-founder of the startup together with his university friend (which failed when the pandemic had started).
After graduation, Vitalii became the first engineering hire of Founders Lair - corporate innovation startup with offices in Singapore, Beijing, Seoul and, at the same time, became a co-founder and CTO of ImPACKED Travel - a Chinese social enterprise devoted to sustainable travel. During the pandemic, he moved to Mexico and started TeaJS CDMX - a community organization that connects JavaScript (and not only) developers in Mexico City, both online and offline. At this time, Vitalii serves as Software Engineer at Diffgram - the US-based open-source startup.
