About Blazor with Ben Laan

Blazor is a single-page app framework for building interactive client-side Web apps with .NET. Blazor uses open web standards (no plugins or code transpilation). Blazor works in all modern web browsers, including mobile browsers.

In this talk I will provide an overview of What it is, and Why it is important. I'll offer some speculation about Where its headed, and finally a demo on How to build an application with custom Blazor components.

I'm highly skilled in the field of enterprise software solution development, mobile app, react native and (Xamarin) development , eLua, flow programming, node.js IoT(ESP:Raspberry/WinCE) development and delivery with over 10 years experience.

I’ve built mobile applications, enterprise workflow apps, custom products within Government, health, agriculture and finance. I've build sensors system and remote communication software for production machines, I've built drones just for fun. I’ve always liked building products following best practices. Making sure that the code I write today is maintainable and extensible in future. I’ve been working for the last 4 years with Azure(PAAS) and have a strong understanding of cloud based technology for enterprise apps. I’ve designed built and solution architected N-Tier and WebAPI based apps.

I am a Software Architect with over 22 years of industry experience. I am passionate about all aspects of software development.

I work for MatrixGroup, a division of Eka. We build state of the art bulk commodity handling solutions for tier one clients in the Minerals and Agricultural industries throughout the world.

I have extensive experience designing and building platform architectures that support complex, modular and customised solutions for clients. This includes building N-Tier, distributed systems, and interfacing with real-time (SCADA) systems, using .NET technologies such as WPF, XNA, ASP.NET (MVC, Web Api)
