Language and Culture Exchange Fortnightly (20 and 30 somethings)

Hello and welcome!

Come along to our regular language and culture meetup to make new friends and practice speaking languages in a pressure-free environment. No matter which language you're learning or how well you speak, everyone is welcome to come and join!

As travellers and people of diverse backgrounds ourselves, we seek to provide a friendly environment for diverse exchange of culture and language. We'll keep things simple and fluid. The venue will always remain in the CBD. But please do keep an eye out as each event approaches, because from time to time we may try a different place within the CBD.

Popular languages are usually Spanish, Mandarin, French, Japanese, German, Korean, Italian and, of course English! If you want to check, try posting in the group or the event to see if there are other speakers of your target language going.

While attraction between attendees may naturally develop over time, using this meetup as a 'hunting ground' will not be welcome, nor tolerated. Please partner with us in creating a safe and comfortable environment for all attendees.
2. The very essence of a language and cultural exchange is the celebration of our rich diversity. Please be respectful to one another and treat differences in opinion or background with an open mindset. If you have been treated disrespectfully, please don't stay silent - come and talk to myself or one of the other organisers. We don't want to lose good people.
