What we’re about
“Theologians may quarrel, but mystics around the world speak the same language.” — Meister Eckhart, German theologian, philosopher, and mystic (c.1260–1328)
At Adelaide Mystics, we come together to celebrate the perennial wisdom available to seekers around the world; the true nature of our relationship with Source.
Here, mysticism isn’t a doctrine—it’s a shared understanding. We honour mystery, welcome paradox, and walk alongside one another as we each find our own way toward understanding our transcendent nature. Whether through meditation, prayer, chanting, contemplation, or simply sitting in silence, we create space for the sacred to speak.
We’re inspired by the voices of mystics across traditions—those who have glimpsed the divine and left behind words that still shimmer with truth. Their insights provide validation and nurturing as we go about our daily lives.
This is a home for anyone seeking spiritual companionship without the weight of dogma. We gather around what connects us: the longing for truth, the beauty of shared stillness, and the joy of discovering that we are never alone on the path.

Conversations With God — Rediscovering the Voice Within
What if God has never stopped speaking — and the only missing piece is our willingness to listen?
Inspired by the work of Neale Donald Walsch, this talk invites you into the heart of his message: that divine communication is not a miracle reserved for prophets, but a natural conversation available to every human being.
Together, we’ll explore:
-How Walsch reframes “God” as the ever-present intelligence of life itself.
-Why conversations with the Divine often feel like moments of your own deepest clarity.
-The difference between fear-based inner chatter and authentic inner guidance.
-How to cultivate a relationship with the sacred that is personal, grounded, and psychologically safe
-Practical ways to notice, listen, and respond to the subtle dialogue already unfolding in everyday life.
This is not about belief. It’s about lived experience — the kind Walsch describes when he says that God speaks through thought, feeling, intuition, and experience itself.
Whether you’re a longtime reader of Conversations with God or simply curious about the nature of inner wisdom, this gathering offers a spacious, inclusive exploration of what it means to be in dialogue with the Mystery.
Donations are not essential but to help cover the cost of hiring the Community Centre room, a donation of $5.00 would be helpful.
Tea and coffee provided.
