What we’re about
Entrepreneurial spirit is a mindset. It's an attitude and approach to thinking that actively seeks out change, rather than waiting to adapt to change. It's a mindset that embraces critical questioning, innovation, service and continuous improvement.
Entrepreneurial thinking is about recognising opportunities in the marketplace and understanding how and when to capitalise on them. Becoming an entrepreneur is not necessarily an inherent trait. It takes time to train yourself to use your talents and experience to see opportunities where others do not.
Underpinned by a lean startup approach, it's not easy growing a global company from a regional city, so join us to learn from others who are on the same journey, and some who have achieved spectacular success. Lean Startup methods provide a structured and disciplined approach to launching new products and services including starting new enterprises. These concepts are designed to reduce market risks and sidestep the need for large amounts of initial project funding and expensive product launches and failures.
You might have a startup or side hustle, be self-employed or a sub-contractor, run a small business, be scaling up or seen as a standout business. Regular meetups will connect you to members are on the same path as yourself, investors, innovation leaders, ecosystem members, skilled professionals, government representatives and advisers.
