Profound crises often take the form of a loss or disillusion of meaning. Meaning is a vital motivator in our lives. It drives our choices, the ways we respond to situations and the impetus for our long-term goals. So when in a crisis we lose our cherished sense of meaning, we lose our anchor, how do we cope? Or does this provide us with a new opportunity?

Counselor, astrologer, and homeopath Mark Lambrick explores these themes in his talk, drawing on influences steeped in traditional mysticism, astrology, Buddhism and the collapse of scientific thinking: drawing also upon his book Infinite Zero.

In this workshop presented by Feng Shui consultant Lin Wang we have the opportunity to learn about authentic Chinese Feng Shui from a professional. The workshop will cover:

Trained in China, Lin practises authentic Chinese Feng Shui, blending traditional wisdom with modern design to create environments that feel balanced, welcoming, and supportive of success and wellbeing. Lin is the founder of Linlin Interiors.

As above so below is a saying derived from a brief text known as the Emerald Tablet, an early English translation of which was by Sir Isaac Newton. The Hermetic tradition is based on the notion of a thorough connection between spirit and matter, the human being and nature, the macrocosm and the microcosm: and it treats these pairs or dualities as aspects of an overarching and underlying unity. This view Hermeticism shares with the thought of Pythagoras, Plato and the Vedanta. Much of the world prior to the seventeenth century saw reality in such terms, an understanding of which affords us an insight into a common intellectual heritage long lost to view. It also speaks to us of what today we sorely need to hear: our potential for becoming fully human by realising the wisdom which the gods possess.

##### About the Presenter

Dara Tatray is the President of the Adelaide Theosophical Society. Previously, she served at the national headquarters of the TS in Australia as National President, National Secretary, Editor of Theosophy in Australia, and national lecturer. She holds a PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science (UNSW 2006) and has a long-standing love of Advaita Vedanta and the perennial philosophy, especially through the works of Ramana Maharshi, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Patañjali, and Helena Blavatsky.

A life of the Founding Mother of the New Age. Helena Blavatsky (H.P.B.), doyenne of 19th Century occultism, prolific and gifted writer, author of The Secret Doctrine and co-founder of The Theosophical Society, challenged Victorian thinking and brought the Trans-Himalayan Wisdom Teachings to the Western world. This talk will trace her extraordinary life from her early years to the meeting with her Master, her many travels across the world, her time in Tibet and the formation of the Theosophical Society. We will follow her many struggles in establishing the TS against great opposition, meet her companions in the work, and discuss the esoteric manner in which The Secret Doctrine was written. If time allows, we will examine her astrological chart and look at critical moments of her life as this great Initiate fulfilled her life’s work.

Adrienne has been a consulting astrologer and psychotherapist in private practice for over 30 years. She has a deep interest in wisdom traditions having studied with the Rosicrucian Society, the Theosophical Society, the Anthroposophical Society, the University of the Seven Rays of which she was a faculty member, and the International Academy of Esoteric Astrologers.
She has worked for many years in astrological and esoteric education, as a curriculum developer, teacher, national and international conference organiser, has written articles and columns for several publications and lectured at conferences and public forums in Australia and overseas. Now retired from private practice, Adrienne’s current focus is on research and writing.
