On this hike you can enjoy the cool sanctuary of Chambers Gully. Watch out for cockatoos, butterflies and kangaroos as you follow a track that is fringed with ferns. We will walk through what is dubbed « koala alley ». A steep climb takes you to the ridge, where splendid views of the city and coast are revealed.
Our destination is the Cleland Wildlife Park café, where we will take a 20min break for coffee/drinks and snacks (purchase is optional). We will come back on a different track and thus closing the circuit.
Good hiking shoes are recommended. Plenty of water, sunscreen and hat are a must!
There is very limited parking at the trailhead, so we will meet in Burnside and do a short carpool to the trailhead. Meet at the corner of Waterfall Gully Rd and Waterfall Terrace in Burnside. (see pin drop placed with precision). Please be on time!
Meet at 8.45 for an 8.50am departure.
