What we’re about
A group for adults with ADHD to share stories, resources and insights that are helpful, and to network together to create a connected ADHD community.
If you are an adult who is living with ADHD then this group is for you. Whether you were diagnosed as a child or as an adult, ADHD brings some unique challenges as well as amazing opportunities.
At meetings and events, whether in person or online, we will have speakers and topics addressing the opportunities and the challenges of living with ADHD. You will also find a safe place to share stories, your triumphs, and failures, and what you have found most helpful to navigate the journey of the ADHD life.
Learn from others, share with others, find your tribe.
There are no member dues however from time to time we may charge a small event fee.
We are connected with Citylife Community Initiatives Inc.
Our motto is: empowering people, building community.

Art is a powerful tool for ADHDers, allowing thoughts and energy to flow without judgement. The process of creating can promote emotional regulation, offering a calming escape from over-stimulation or racing thoughts, and strengthens executive function skills.
We will follow a simple YouTube sketch tutorial, drawing together and having a laugh. 🖌 lead pencils, paper, eraser, a ruler and maybe some cotton wool... are all useful items for this session.
This session we have chosen a landscape; https://youtu.be/DPNY_p_9VK8?si=RqUIMMwlV2LegsF7
- we will watch to video in full
- then give everyone a chance to get all materials we need
- start video again, watching, rewinding pausing as required📌 Important disclaimer: While we call this art therapy, we are not licensed therapists or medical professionals. This session is purely a social and creative gathering, and everyone is responsible for their own health and well-being.
If all goes well, I'd like to make this a regular event. So grab your sketchbook, a cup of tea, and let’s draw together!
