About us

Parenting a child with ADHD can feel beautiful, exhausting, confusing, and lonely — sometimes all before breakfast. Imagine if you also have !

This meetup is a safe, supportive space for parents and caregivers of children with ADHD (diagnosed, self-identified, or “strongly suspected”) who want to connect with others who get it.

No judgement.
No fixing.
No perfect parenting required.

Just real conversations with people who understand the daily realities:

  • school struggles and meetings
  • emotional regulation (theirs and ours 😅)
  • guilt, overwhelm, love, frustration, pride
  • navigating systems, labels, and expectation
  • trying to stay sane while doing your best

What this group is (and isn’t)

✔️ A place to share experiences
✔️ A place to listen and feel understood
✔️ A place to ask questions without shame
✔️ A place to take a breath

❌ Not therapy
❌ Not a parenting class
❌ Not advice unless you ask for it

Some meetups may include gentle reflection prompts, short discussions, or themes (school, boundaries, burnout, identity, etc.), but the heart of the group is connection.

Who is this for?
• Parents of ADHD kids (any age)
• Parents who discovered their own ADHD through their child
• Expat or local parents — English-speaking
• Parents who are tired of pretending they’re “handling it”

You don’t need a diagnosis, a plan, or a positive mindset.
You just need to show up as you are.

☕ We’ll meet in relaxed, accessible places around Haarlem.
Come once. Come often. Come messy.

You belong here.
