What we’re about
Welcome to ADHD Women in Perimenopause! This group is for women navigating the challenges of ADHD while also experiencing perimenopause. We come together to share experiences, offer support and learn strategies for managing symptoms in this unique stage of life. When I entered my 40s, I started to experience symptoms of brain fog, chronic fatigue and memory issues. It took me a while to realise I had entered perimenopause. It was hard enough to deal with my ADHD challenges, but I noticed that perimenopause had triggered my ADHD to a new level. I wanted to find a peer group of other ADHD women who experience similar challenges, but I couldn’t find one, so I decided to start my own!
Before each meetup, an educational podcast or YouTube video on the subject is usually suggested to help guide our conversation. Or we may simply keep the space open for women to be heard and understood, depending on what the group needs, one week at a time! Whether you're a woman with ADHD in your 30s, 40s or 50s who is heading into or experiencing perimenopause, this group is for you.
Join us for monthly Norwich meetups that focus on self-care, wellbeing and a sense of community among women who understand. Let us walk this road together!
