West Branch Sacandaga (Shuttle)

Details

One way trip on the West Branch of the Sacandaga, this is a beautiful river in the southern Adirondacks with lots of history.
This will be a one way paddle requiring a shuttle. The plan is to meet early where the river crosses Route 10 and to leave a few cars there while we shuttle up to the put in several miles down the road.
Difficulty: Easy, this is a flat water paddle one way down stream. Total distance depending on optional side trips to Chubb and Trout Lakes is 6-9 miles.
PFDs are required to be worn on our paddles. A whistle or other appropriate sounding device is required. Watch the weather and wear appropriate clothing, have sun protection and plenty of water
