Minerva Creek day trip with optional Moxham Mountain Hike

Details

This is a fun paddle up a little Adirondack stream, with an optional hike up Moxham Mountain a few miles away. The plan is to do the paddle and then to travel the few miles to the trail head to hike Moxham Mountain for anyone that wants to go. If youre going to hike bring a lunch. There is an amazing view of the mountain on the stream, and the hike itself is amazing and highly recommended.
Difficulty: Intermediate-Hard. There are several beaver dams that need to be climbed over on this trip. Total distance is 6-8 miles. The optional hike is 5.3 miles with 1,300’ elevation gain.
PFDs are required to be worn on our trips. A whistle or other sounding device is required also. Watch the weather and dress appropriately. If you are going to do the hike be sure to bring plenty of water and wear appropriate foot gear.
