Description: Day trip on the Cedar River Flow. The goal will be lunch at the lean-to.

Difficulty: Easy-intermediate, mostly flat we will be heading up stream once we get to the river. There is at least one very short portage where we need to get around a beaver dam. Total distance near 8-10 miles.

Safety: PFDs are required to be worn on our trips. A whistle or appropriate sounding device is also required. Dress appropriately for the weather, this is an end of season paddle and a wet/dry suit may be appropriate, remember to “dress for the swim”. Note, while this will be the last paddle of the year where a dry suit is optional it is strongly recommended. I recommend bringing a dry bag with warm clothes and a towel in case of capsize. This trip will require going over blowdown and dams, wear appropriate foot gear.
