Hike at McCoord Woods and Horizon Hill via Crescent Trail

We will hike a section of the Crescent Trail in Pittsford and will include the McCoord Woods as well as the Horizon Hill. The hike will be about 10 miles and we will climb about 1,300ft of elevation gain during the course of the hike. I would consider this hike moderately challenging for most day hikers, so if you have time constraints, or are a beginner, this may not be the hike for you.

Depending on group size and experience this hike will take anywhere from 4-6 hours, so please planaccordingly. Please bring snacks, lunch and plenty of water.

If you want to join the hike, you must contact the trip leader in advance.

Start time will be 08:30. Meet at Kreag Road Park, just off of Kreag Rd (Rt 27). There is ample parking.
