Outside Voices at the ADK-GVC Chapter Meeting

This free and open to the public meeting includes:

6:30 PM Workshop: Naloxone Training. The Monroe County Health Department will be visiting us and showing how to save a life by using a medicine that rapidly reverses an opioid overdose. (Naloxone is safe; it has no effect on someone who does not have opioids in their system, and it is not a treatment for opioid use disorder.)

7:30 PM Presentation: The Wild Life of Remote Ornithology by Aurora Kuczek. Wildlife biologist, Aurora Kuczek has worked as wildlife biologist in remote places around the world including Alaska and Argentina. Her talk will focus on the adventures and challenges associated with this work.
