Tuesday Holiday Hike (Hybrid)-NOTA and Roc Holiday Village

Two-hour hybrid Holiday hike split between a 2.7-mile hike on University Ave to Roc Holiday Village, then a second 1.3 mile hike at a slower pace from the RMSC Planetarium on East Ave returning to the meetup parking lot. Meet at 9:45am in the parking lot at Atlantic Ave and Russell St (43.15594, -77.57846) for a 10:00am hike start. Please dress for the weather, bring some water to drink, and wear boots or trail shoes with good traction. Depending on winter sidewalk conditions Nanospike or Exospike traction devices may be needed. Please RSVP if you're doing the 2nd hike to coordinate a shuttle back to your car. Our hybrid hike consists of 2 hikes that allow us to drop off hikers who prefer a 40-minute to 1-hour easier hike at a slower pace with less elevation change, then continue with the 2nd hike for the rest of the 2 hours at a faster pace with some short climbs. This allows all of us to keep hiking together, when some of our old and new friends need to shorten their hike or some are just starting back hiking after a time off or recovering from surgery.
