Tuesday Hike (Hybrid) - Oatka Creek Park

Meet at the Main Parking Lot in Oatka Creek Park at the corner of Union St, and Quaker Road. We will meet at 9:45A.M. and start hiking at 10:00 am and return around 12:00 pm. Follow the link above at "where:" if you are unfamiliar with this parking lot. We'll hike about 2 hours through the almost flat terrain of the Oatka Creek Park. The first part of the hybrid hike will be along the creek. The second part of the hike will be deeper in to the park. Remember to bring hiking shoes and bug spray, the trail may have tall grass. Additional Information:
Our hybrid hike consists of 2 hikes that allow us to drop off hikers who prefer a 40-minute to 1-hour easier hike at a slower pace with less elevation change, then continue with the 2nd hike for the rest of the 2 hours at a faster pace with some short climbs. This allows all of us to keep hiking together, when some of our old and new friends need to shorten their hike or some are just starting back hiking after a time off or recovering from surgery.
